Hello,

I am an artist and writer - currently living in Manila, Philippines. After recently relocating from the United States with my family, I have fallen in love with the vibrant energy, culture, and incredible art scene of Manila.

In 2001, I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

I have always had a passion for photography, and during college I discovered a deep love for painting and writing as well. Over the past 20 years, I have combined these creative mediums into a unique mixed-media style that blends text, imagery, and color into deeply personal visual narratives.

After spending several years focused primarily on writing, I have recently returned to painting with renewed inspiration and creative energy. Through this new chapter, I’ve rediscovered the joy of working with my hands and slowing down enough to truly enjoy the artistic process.

My first book of prose and artwork, The Juliette Letters: Confessions of an Artistic Mind, was published in 2019. My second book, Be Like Water: A Visual Memoir, was released in September 2024.

I invite you to explore my newest body of work, The Analog Diaries, a series of paintings inspired by the beauty of slowing down, staying creatively curious, and finding bliss in the everyday process of making art. The collection is now available on the Store page of this website.
